Building layers of paint starting with drippy washes of acrylic and ink then adding complementry wash to white spaces. This work took time and many layers to get an uplifting balance of colour, texture and space. It was only at the final stage after splashes of alcohol ink lifted the layers below that I added the streaks of blue to provide a major focal point, and that gave rise to the name ‘Blue Vibrations’. This was so much fun to create and whiled away the hours in a contented dream like state. What does it feel like for you?
